Is NetGear Stora NAS Worth Buying?

Hey everyone,

Hoping to get some suggestions. I have 5 or 6, +2TB hard drives filled with media etc.
I was wondering if something like the Netgear Stora NAS would be a better option.

Also, if I have all my media on one of these, can I share it with Plex?

    I have an old Stora, it's not bad. I have had stuff on it that could be seen by Plex. My biggest gripe with the one I had was that every time we had a power outage, it wasn't smart enough to turn itself back on again afterwards, I had to go downstairs and manually do it.

    I paid $40 for one. Its not worth $40. Think of it as 'my first nas'. I believe your requirements outstrip it unless you want to buy 4tb x 2.

    I also think you can only run raid 1 or 0. That's it.

    For better NAS experience I would have a close look at Synology, not not all Synology NAS support PLEX server
