Is that the new one everyone hates? It plays like a free to play game with a heap of stuff to buy, yet they charge for the base game too?
"This would be pretty alright, if it was priced correctly, $0 like other F2P games"

the only things to buy are shitty skins? all of the operators are unlockable with XP OR you can buy them

      • Might be a different game then? I know a lot of journos really are hating on a pretty new Rainbow 6 game but I don't know which one, they really dislike it.

Don't know where you got your facts from but its a great game, especially with a few reliable friends. Played plenty of hours and unlocked a bunch of stuff without spending a cent more than the original purchase. Only gripe I have is late night matchmaking is very fickle.

I played in the closed beta. Everything about it including it's interface and unlocks feels like a F2P. Everyone was competing to see who could lock in the OP classes first, and if you didn't own any other classes: tough cookies have to play as default.

I would happily have sunk $50 if every class was unlocked to begin with, but they aren't, so I voted with my wallet and didn't buy.

This is probably one of last games you could call a cash grab. All DLC maps will be free and there is only a 7-day lockout on new operators.

Great price for a great game. I've already put in over 100hrs and would recommend it to anyone who even remotely enjoys tactical games that require plenty of communication.

It's certainly not without bugs but nothing game-breaking and Ubi really has surprised everyone with how quickly they've acted of player feeback wirh patches and fixes.
