These should see price drops once the 650 gets released.
Or $149 from the Optus eBay store, with $30 recharge included (instead of the super selfie) + 2% CR cashback.

That flexible phone stand would be perfect for watching videos on flights etc.
Aren't these phones dying unfortunately?
Mine did 2 weeks ago, but I did run over it with my slasher while mowing.
I mean, they will no longer be releasing them due to being unpopular.
Microsoft is changing direction (again) because Windows Phone hasn't been gaining traction. So, you could say it's dead, for now.

That's the direction MS took since Nadella took over, nothing new there. Everything about Windows Phone being dead is conjecture from the author.
It's conjecture from the author as to whether Microsoft believes Windows Phone is dead, but the stagnant app store situation is a great sign from the public's point of view that Windows Phone is dead.
No use having a smart phone unless you can actually do smart things with it. The Lumias are stunning devices, but 90% of the apps that people use on Android or iOS simply aren't available, or if they are they're super outdated.
Unless there's a serious shakeup to the eco-system (which probably means a serious shakeup to the platform)…Windows Phone isn't looking very healthy.
@TheContact:
A 57% drop in Lumia sales year-on-year might be considered 'alive' in some circles too, I suppose.
@cheepwun:
It's alive simply because MS is still actively working on it. You know, just like all the Android OEMs that keep posting losses are alive.
I'm not saying it's not floundering and on life support, but saying it's dead is click bait, pure and simple.
It's alive simply because MS is still actively working on it.
Windows Phone 8 is being abandoned, much like Windows Phone 7 was not long ago. Windows 10 Mobile is "the future". Or so they say.
If you consider all of these OSs one and the same, then Windows Phone is alive and well. Most of the media are saying it's dead. And they'd be closer to the truth.
No substantial sales = new direction
Great phone, got mine for about $95 from office works a few weeks back
Love my 640. No more Android or Apple for me.
These have been as low as $99 at Officeworks and Dick Smith before.
