David Jones Van Heusen Clearance from $19.95

170

I noticed some shirts on clearance at David Jones in the Brisbane CBD yesterday and saw further stock on clearance at Carindale QLD.

Quite a few shirts at $35, some for $25 and the occasional one for $20. I bought three shirts today for $67 and am pretty chuffed with that.

Stock and even prices vary by store from what I've seen, but if you're in the market for a few cheap shirts to get you through the year then this is worth a look now that the Myer sale is over.

  • Good deal, VH seem to have big discounts lately…

I went to the Van Heusen store at DFO 2 weeks ago and they had all shirts on sale for $25 and still gave you 5% off if you gave them your details. Last weekend they were back to $49.

Seems like a similar deal here…

  • i saw a shhirt for 9.95, terrible website though, should beable to select sizes more easily e.g sleeve length etc

  • Better off paying $39 for a Charles Trywhitt.

    • +1

they don't have a classic cut for fat guys like me and pocket on shirt for a pen or glasses.

  • Part of this wider deal:

Save 40% to 60% on a range of business shirts from Van Heusen, Geoffrey Beene, Calvin Klein, Industrie, David Jones, Abelard, Hardy Amies, Nigel Lincoln, Eton and Thomas Pink. Discount applied in marked price.

  • one of the van huesen sales was great, i know my size and preferred cut, ordered 5 shirts easy ………..

I'm surprised they don't do it in store at these sales ……. take orders and you pickup later ………

I can't see myself paying $60 for a shirt when there are so many specials and I can get it for $25-30 if I wait.

The big retailer need to be more like show rooms and take orders rather than trying to be a warehouse and sell at high margins.

I find trawling through those sale bins akin now to trawling through dick smith looking for a bargain ….. a chore not part of a pleasant shopping experience with high chance of a positive purchase.
