My credit card comes with 2 complimentary lounge pass valid for 12mths. One of the T&C is i need to show my credit card and QF/JQ boarding pass when accessing. The problem is im thinking of cancelling my card when its time for renewal. Does the lounge really required to check my credit card?
Next question is my next Jetstar flight number starts with 3k instead of JQ. Can i still use the pass?

If so, in my experience the only thing the lounge staff check is your boarding pass.

which bank is your card with? what type of card is it?
Its anz frequent flyer. Will it matter?
Should have ANZ printed on the lounged passes. But I've never heard of them checking the issued card.
If it's the black anz then it comes with separate access to a bunch of other lounges as well. But you'll need the anz cards for those. Check the website. I think it's "veloce" https://www.velocelounges.com/anz.html
Request a reissue of the credit card with an expiry date extension (or wait for the existing card to expired and be reissued) prior to closing the account. No one will know the credit card account is closed unless you try a transaction.
Which credit card? The anz card? If so, that card comes with extra lounge access in addition to the 2 qantas club passes.
You can find details of those lounges on the anz website. Same with the AMEX lounge in Sydney, you need to have the card.
As for the qantas club passes, never heard of them checking that you have the a credit card from the specific bank. But I guess it's something they could do, I highly doubt it. They definately will check your boarding passes though. 3K flight number is jetstar. That's fine
