Like every other 'deal' you've posted, this is just your everyday price.

    Go away!

Oh and if anyone clicks through past 'expired' deals, you'll see the same prices

    • Yeah, notorious sockpuppeteers…this is not a deal, (mod removed) already OP.

ok has some body found the cheapest $ per kg for quinoa……… let's conoditise like we would rice and so many other things.
heck it's not like trullfes and they need pigs or beagles to find it…… they grow it in fields and I'm sure. somebody must have worked out how to buy it at price that doesn't include new age marketing and markups.

    • Do you mean "commoditise" ?
It needs to be grown before it can be sold at any price, then the price is dictated by the balance of supply & demand.

There's a worldwide shortage, so it's expensive…but they're starting to grow it here. In 5 years it will be much cheaper.

  • It is actually a pretty good price. I normally buy mine at Costco for $14 but it is only 1.2kg.

    • +1

      Umm no its not

      $118*.12 = $14.16

So it's more expensive than your smaller amount

      • +1

        Costco $14 ÷ 1.2 = $11.666 kg (Pickup + Membership)
        Innova ebay $118 ÷ 10 = 11.80 kg (Shipped)
        Innova website $109.05 ÷ 10 = $10.905 kg (Shipped)

You need to work out your Maths better before you write a comment … $118 * = 11.80 per Kg.
        Where does $14.16 comes from?

        • +2

He/She buys a 1.2kg size, I was comparing how much the equivalent size would be through you.

And you're really going to have a go at my maths? Maybe you should learn some comprehension first.

      • Innova's price for 10Kgs is $99 plus $30.35 for postage = $129.35
You can check in the website
        Thanks

        • Postage to 5001 was $10.05 in your website

  • 20 x 500g packs shipped off your website is $109.05

    Wheres the deal?

I don't even like quinoa, what am I doing here.

  • Hippies don't mind paying premium.
    But this isn't Hippy-bargain.

  • It is always this price per kg at my local bulk scoops place

  • woolworths are $8 for 500g, so $16 kg, but you can buy it in 500g lots ….. no postage, just straight into the trolley.

Nor sure I want 10kg of it ….. especially if it only saves $3kg after postage …… coles are $18 kg …….

not sure how to even cook it but I might get a 500g bag at woolies and try it out ……… I might start to like it as an alternative to rice or cous cous

business insider says aldi might be starting to stock quinoa ….. will that be "disruptive" to the market ?
