Remove Data off SSD

hi guys,
my pc died :(
I need to get my data off my ssd asap.
whats the quickest way of doind this
I noticed my laptop has a eSATA connection port next to the usb ports. Can I use this ? Ill just need to buy a SATA to eSATA cable ?
or it wont work since my SSD requires power input

        nooo. not quite right.

        Check the eSATA port on your laptop. there are two types of eSATA connection types — the left picture is eSATAp and the right is normal eSATA

        If your laptop has eSATAp (P stands for power) then yes, the power is supplied through SATA but if the port does not carry power, you'll typically end up having to power the drive using a USB port.

        A much simpler solution is to just buy a normal USB3.0 to SATA connector. It matters not if your laptop only has USB2.0.

        It's more universal anyway as not many devices nowadays even have eSATA anymore. USB3 and USB 3.1, and Type C are now becoming better standards for data transfer.
