A cheap and fast SD card with over 1200 reviews on amazon. Lowest price ever on camel x3 by far. From reviews, this baby reads at about 75MB/s and writes at over 20MB/s, making it a much cheaper alternative to your sandisk ultras. Oh yeah and it looks nice as well :)

  • Never heard of this brand before. Anyone?

I would've considered this if I hadn't purchased a micro SD a few days ago

  • Cheers to the two above replyer. I will order it later on

  • Looks like 128GB microSDXC are finally coming down in price. Think I'll wait a bit longer for a better brand at this price.

Thanks bought one perfect for the LG G4 I just ordered!
Got a screen protector and case to help cover the ~$7 postage

Good luck with your G4. I just had my 2 month old G4 replaced by JBHiFi same day because the WIFI died on it. It's a ridiculously good phone with a nice camera. But people, including me, seem to have a lot of trouble with them.

YEp, I was going to get one for the other half. With it having been out for a while now there seems to be a lot of hardware failures happening, along with the LG software issues.

I suppose , the point is Goldstar are still Goldstar even with the "Lucky" initial from the company name added.

        • My G4 has been good for 8months now, better than my S5 which had it's camera die after 1month.
I've been very impressed with it, only wish battery life was better but it's not really any worse than other friends phones.

        • Software issues?

          I'm hoping to root mine - that's why I got it because there's a root available :)

        • @s3n:
          root :/

        • @s3n:

The software still has to be available. Try finding an SMS client that doesn't let you right swipe away entire conversation histories and if you mis the undo button shown it's gone for good. (In the end I settled for ChompSMS which is far from perfect but the best I could find and doesn't have that craziness).

        • @syousef:
The default sms client in the g4 doesn't have the swipe to delete function and even with the official google one you can just set it to archive instead.

        • @MiniMad:

You're wrong. Right swipe on a conversation in the LG messaging app. It does delete. If you can set it to archive instead of delete I'd be grateful if you'd tell me how. I certainly can't find it.

Likewise the LG Gallery app deletes a picture if you right swipe. Whoever came up with this behaviour should be taken out and flogged.

      • Hope mine's ok - I got a grey import H818n dual sim for around $560 on the ebay 10% sale

Lucky I didn't pay so much and go the V10

Thanks for posting this as I was in the market for a 128GB micro SD and hadn't considered Amazon.

    • Keep an eye on your favorite cards. They do a lot of sale promotions. I just got a Lexar 633x 64Gb for 35 AUD (25USD), crazy prices.

  • Good price. But writing at 20Mb/s is not that great for 4K videos I reckon?

Also for gopro users, only hero 4 onwards support 128gb, previous ones (3,3+, hero+lcd, hero+) can only handle 64gb, and 32gb for the basic Heroes.

  • If this is anything like their SD cards, then this is quality!

Had a Silicon Power SD card back in the early 2000s. Supposedly manufactured by Panasonic. Comes with 'Lifetime warranty', which came in handy when Dad ejected the card during a write transfer that killed the memory. Silicon Power happily replaced it for free.

This PNY is probably a better buy given it can do almost 60mb/s write according to reviews

    http://www.amazon.com/PNY-128GB-MicroSDXC-Memory-P-SDUX128U1…

(buyer's remorse on the Silicon Power)

    • The reviews are grouped by card brand for all sizes the 32 & 64 are U3 cards (faster) the 16 & 128GB address U1 so much slower.

      Packaging says:
On the front of the package it claims "60MB/s", but the fine print on the back says: "Up to 60MB/s read speed, write speed lower".

I'd say there wouldn't be much between these two.

Is the pcbyte Samsung evo quicker though?

      • They are all pretty similar price points and reliability so you're right not much difference

I'd say the PNY, Silicon Power and Samsung in that order

The PNY has slower read but faster write and I'd prefer to copy stuff quicker

Samsung new cards are quicker but this EVO is a little dated and has slower read than the Silicon Power
