2x Brita Maxtra Filter Cartridges for $17.99, 2.4L Filter Jug for $19.99, Medion 128GB USB Drive $59.99 @ Aldi 30/1

30

Saw that Aldi has a special on Brita filter cartridges and jugs at Aldi starting on the 30th of January. The filters are normally around $15 each RRP and go on sale for around $10 (2 pack at Coles is on special for $20 currently).

Medion 128GB USB Drive $59.99

The specs on the Aldi site don't even say if it's USB 2/3 but I would be surprised if it's USB2 considering the size.

Medion might not be up there with Sandisk or Samsung - but seeing as the drive comes with 2 years warranty and 60 days money back satisfaction I think it could be a great deal.

  • Not sure the USB is a deal.

It's an untested and unknown stick, could be junk.

I don't want to have to return it if it sucks. It's a hassle, so I would stick with a USB stick that goes on sale every other day on here and know it's fast or doesn't overheat etc.

Yeah 50c/GB is too much for a gamble

      • 60 days money back guarantee and 2 years warranty - I don't see any gamble.

The gamble is that you'll get a dodgy stick (a very high chance) and have to waste time to return it. Losing your data is a pretty big gamble too.

Plus, it's not even USB 3.0

          Sandisk Ultra for $55

          USB, known brand…

$59 delivered if there's no MSY store close by

  • Bought one of the USB sticks late last year.
    Paid $39.99.
I use it in the ute for music. It's been working well. From memory I think it's USB 3.

  • I don't pay more than $8 for Brita Maxtra filters. $10 is normal, $6 is very good.

I just picked up a Brita Navelia jug + 3 maxtra filters for $17.99 from Woolworths. Worth a sneaky look at your local.
