So I need two copies of our building access card done but building management charges $550 per card and that's just outrageous.
Is there place in AU/Sydney where I can buy duplicator and do it by myself?
I found some stuff on eBay but all from HK or CHina and I'd prefer AU store.

It's not RFID, and they have a pre-programmed read-only key in it. It's what I have here, and I manage the system. The length of the key is what determines the card model specifically.
e.g. I attached a reader to my PC and this is the output of a random card scan: 00003c0xxx
This code is then linked to the people's access level and that's it really.
I order in batches of 100, and they're about $10 each. You can only get them for an authorised supplier.
@Cheap Charlie: Being a proprietary system, we're captive customers to whatever the supplier wants to charge. A replacement security system would be ~$400k.
I don't charge for replacements, it's for my company office buildings… But I get shitty if people do silly things like hole punch them because they don't like the sleeves I give..
BTW, they are blank, and I have to print them with a thermal transfer printer.. So total cost is a little higher.
Last place I worked at, they were $35 + gst each, printed though..
