Hi, I'm a first time pc builder and am interested in building one for gaming and general school work [non intensive]. In terms of gaming I'm fine with playing modern games at medium setting on 1920 x 1080; I'm primarily interested in getting the most fps as possible on tf2.
My current budget is $800 max but I prefer to stay around the $700 mark since I haven't included a monitor; which I'm considering getting second hand. I'd like to know if any parts on my current build can be improved or downgraded in terms of price/performance, also any potential compatibility issues or cheaper deals I can find. Thanks in advance. I also have no plans on overclocking.

Pretty sure you'll have to if you want your RAM to perform to its specification. i.e. You'll have to modify the FSB to raise the RAM frequency else the RAM will run at 1333.
