eBay - Roomba 980 Dirt Cheap - Dodgie ?

Hi Everyone
I follow the sale of roomba vac cleaners quite close on ebay. I have noticed that twice the latest roomba 980 which retails for approx $1200 online, has been sold on ebay as buy it now for approx $550. Each time the seller had 0 feedback (different seller ID). Looks dodgie to me, but man i am tempted. Any thoughts ?

  • Sounds really dodgy, but paypal?

    • paypal is offered…

      • If you don't mind the cash being held a while when PayPal are sorting out the case/ refund go for it!

It's dodgy. These maggots pop up with great deals, accept the Paypal payment then disappear. Paypal is left to try to recoup the money. Yes, you should get the money back from Paypal, but it could take some time.

Boonanza summed it up perfectly - it's too good to be true. Zero feedback, cheaper than expected item….stay well away! I'm guessing you might find a few other zero feedback sellers selling similarly discounted premium items.

Don't give these scammers the satisfaction. Report the item to Ebay (there's a link on the page!)

    Good luck in your searches…..

  • I think you can trust this company below: the auctions start off dirt cheap, but end up cheaper than the normal rrp (which you stated), as far as I can tell.

    Are they the cheapest online?
I don't know, but they seem legit and sell a range of robot vacs.
