Playing music from my computer via bluetooth to this speaker sometimes causes the music to skip why is this. I currently have a USB dongle but it's only version 2 not usb version 4 could this be the issue. I'm running Windows 10. Would playing music using a product such as Google Chrome cast be better as this is over wifi or does this depend on my internet connection. I'm also thinking about getting a Chrome cast.

not sure if the blue tooth dongle is one of the $1 ones. I think the speaker was too far away and it seems to work fine now I have it closer.
this is why I used to think 'buying the latest and greatest 'bluetooth-certified' gadgets isn't gonna always guarantee it to work compatibly with other bluetooth products. E.g. Bluetooth wireless technology isn't fullproof. Sometimes a cheap 'china-made' product can work even better than a standard 'brand-name' product on the odd occasion.
is the bluetooth dongle one of the $1 ones?
is the speaker far away from the computer?
