I don't know who the buyers are for both this mob and Rhodes and Beckett. Their size range is from 4-14, the average Australian woman is a size 14, and the vast majority of the sale stock in their stores is at the low size end. Seriously look around and tell me how many women you see in the street are a size 4 compared to how many are a size 16. This is just bad economics.
Positive health choices then. Size 14 is overweight. God help us if that's the average
Size 14 is not necessarily overweight, women are just taller and bigger than when the original measurements were made and I don't think your diety is doing much about it.
According to this article the average might even be a size 16.

Funny how mens sizes allow a lot more room for body differences than the women's fashions do and there doesn't seem to be a lot of bitching about how men are overweight unless they are seriously obese. A women who is a size 16 can comfortably fit into a men's size M shirt. (In fact this is a pretty good alternative option).
Australian retailers can't bitch about online websites if they don't actually sell to their own onshore base.
It may help to vary your diety.
@bargainhunter: Or maybe just buy these clothes instead:

@bargainhunter: As indicated above the average size Australian woman is a size 14. These stores seem content to not cater to a significant number of women in Australia; particularly as they seem to cater for women who are size 4 - which must be a fairly insignificant percentage of Australian women. I know women who are size 14 who have just run the New York marathon - you might want to open your eyes to the difference between size and ill health.
@deal junkie: I followed your link here from that post. My witty rejoinder was in relation to this ironically misspelled word.
I don't think your diety is doing much about it.
@bargainhunter: Ahh… waffle corrected for!
Mate. These are already "white person sized". A size 4 at Rhodes and Beckett/ herringbone is really a size 6 to 8.
If you need anything more than a 14 from this store you are seriously overweight. I'm sorry they don't cater for your size but they shouldn't have to. Clearly the economics are fine since the business is thriving
You've got psychological problems re weight. The average Australian woman is a 14-16. And so what if you're a bit on the overweight side, you don't deserve nice clothes too? Get over yourself.
The average Australian person shouldn't be overweight. And that's the point. We keep trying to normalise it like it's okay. But it's not. It's a problem.
You're right. It's something like 60% of Australians are overweight to obese. It's pretty bad, and it shouldn't be normal, and we have all sorts of health problems because of it. I just don't like it when people get uppity about fat people, like they don't have as much value or worth as a thin person. Thanks for not going ape at me, I was a bit narky - just that particular variety of superciliousness really gets my goat :/
But why the small sizes 37 sold out…
Are these shirts good?
These guys sure are taking their sweet time to ship. Ordered a week ago and I'm still waiting.
