      They've got site issues - I've added an updated link which is working now.

  • Will they still be around for warranty?

    • you could try the manufacturer directly?

  • How much is this usually?

    • It was originally $399

    i like how if you break the main unit you have six useless tools that you cant run :P

  • +3

    Looks like a 6-in-1 weapon which can cause some serious damage.

    Battery systems are far better

    • not for me.

      Petrol > Battery

      • +1

        For hand tools like these, I find that battery powered ones are the better choice. Cleaner, less noisy and needs less maintenance.

        You are right as far as lawnmowers are concerned though. Even the cheapest 4-stroke lawnmower is either better than or same as an expensive battery powered mower.

      Ummm…. that is not always the case.

        You haven't seen my petrol engine powered handheld torch then

  • For those familiar with this brand, is it something you'd recommend?

    • +1

      I bought Rok's petrol hedge trimmer and chainsaw from BigW (so not the 6-in-1 as per this deal) and returned them both for a full refund days later. All Rok tools are very poor quality and both broke after minimal use.

      You get what you pay for

  • I'm looking for a line trimmer was looking around $100 mark. This seems to come with some additional gear which is useful to me too. Any recommendations on this brand? Previously had a Wesco from masters for 4 years and had bought it for $50.

    • How was the wesco?

      • +1

        Contrary to the reviews online. Mine hasn't skipped a beat. I still use it but was thinking about getting a new one just because I was hoping the Wesco to break down( and it hasn't).

  • I bought a chinese brand from deals direct a month ago it was delivered in 3 days and i have used a few times as im a mowing contractor seems good so far…… Skillmeister 9-in-1 Multi Tool - Extension Pole $114.70 delivered.

  • Thanks bought one, 11 left at st marys , shelf price $399.00 so for $199.00 happy to give it a go.

    VERY heavy to carry/use

    Just saw an ad for this on TV during the cricket.

    Ok, so I have had this thing for 1 day and used once and the low-down on my unit is as follows:

    • It's badly engineered - the click mechanism to change heads doesn't work properly. Trying to take a head off to attach another is almost impossible due to the spring loaded clamping pin not releasing even though the lock nut is undone;
    • The shoulder strap is pretty short - if your over 6'1 you won't be able to use the strap across your body;
    • The lock-nuts provided for the handle attachment didn't screw on due to a poor thread pattern on the lock nuts;
    • The trigger handle swivels despite tightening all the screws to the point that the plastic handle casing almost split;
    • The trigger handle and on/off switch is made of cheap plastic and the on/off switch looks like it will break with continued use;
    • There are no instructions whatsoever in the box, I know my way around petrol lawn equipment so I was lucky. Can't see that being the case if you don't know what you're doing as assembly is required (but no instructions given on how to do) so;
    • The unit is extremely heavy - back end weighs about 6-7kgs and the long shafts for each attachment add further weight, making using this unit for longer than 15-20 minutes tiresome and uncomfortable. Trying to use the hedge trimmer above shoulder height is difficult (again due to the weight of the unit).

    Suffice to say I will be making a hasty trip back to Masters to return this POC. As mentioned above you get what you pay for…
