      I'd prefer a bargain on the 540 personally.
      It's an improvement over the 530 with an added remote control, LCD, matrix mode, and apparently fixes a 'crackling issue' that was present with the 530.
      Sure it's not groundbreaking but the prices are so similar you might as well. ($82 for x540 and $61 for x530, according to staticice.com.au)
      So I hope they have a bargain for the x-540. =^)

        Yep I did look at both on staticice but didn't really look at the differences in too much detail. I must admit I made a bit of an impulse decision in wanting the x-530 simply because I felt they looked better, and I thought you know, how much better can one that's only $20 or so be?
        But wow really, it has a remote control and LCD?!?! WTF LOL I never knew that. What's matrix mode?

        Ok I too would like a x-540 bargain then! HAHA

        Just had a look at some reviews. There's no LCD and the remote control is just like a little control center, still wired and attached to it. Just that it's not on the front of the speaker itself like a normal speaker.

        What have you heard about the 'crackling issue'? My friend who has owned the x-530 for a few years now says that it only occurs when he turns lights on/off, and twice he's had a weird experience with the speakers in that they picked up radio waves and started playing it. The speakers themselves were on but the volume was off.

          Yeah, I realised that too. Turns out it is only able to be 'mounted on' a LCD monitor.
          About the 'crackling' issue, I've read on whirlpool that it was present in the 530 but fixed in the 540.
          Matrix mode converts your 2.1 sound into a 5.1.
          I don't know anyone with either of those speakers but they seem pretty reliable considering how many years they've been out.

      You can say that again. I never let my MX Revolution into click-to-click. I'm so used to the free scroll. My friend have a problem when they use my mouse but I've had it for 2 years… Never had a problem with it.

    If the reseller is asking us, why don't we have some sort of voting system to determine which items we would like to have a bargain on?

      In their defence they have taken a lot of orders here, not just this mouse but the earphones plus everything else. They are very likely overwelmed packing stuff and sending it out.

      Better they are a bit slower than sending out the wrong thing.

    That is actually so true ,
    Let me just elaborate if i may ,
    The orders that came in were MASSIVE we are talking thousands .
    Thats easy , we involved more resources .
    Here is a few things that cause a little delays , and we will make sure that procedures are put in place to counter this issues in the future .

    1. Bpay people (most) placed orders , paid a few days later .
    2. People kept changing their mind , (please change to this , please change to that . ) the good news is we did it all as you requested , any other company would've said no . or would've said you cant . We did it all
    3. We apologize but i guarantee it is still on track , we thank you all for your patience and the wonderful thank you emails for all who received their items , My job is not complete until i see everyone smiling .
