Congratulations to Lavazza for having a red hot go with this competition.
However, am I the only one to notice an interesting psychological twist with this competition that maybe the marketers didn't foresee?
Why?
Once you've tried several times to win and and seen the various images of the players doing almost everything else other than drinking Lavazza Coffee … you actually start to wonder if they actually ever do drink the coffee.
So in a weird reverse psychology way …
Competition entrants see them doing everything else but drink coffee … And start to then ask … Does anyone actually drink this coffee?
Of course I know people do.
But the competition seems to be repetitively promoting people doing anything other than drinking coffee.
Maybe the competition should have focused on them always drinking coffee and highlighting aspects of the brand with prizes going to those finding the players drinking from, for eexample, a golden cup.
Anyway that's ten cents worth.

Exactly! I agree with everything in your post!! It looks like he doesn't drink coffee at all! What a load of bull! Not very good advertising for the coffee company if he's never drinking it!
Anyway I think you should copy and paste what you wrote above and send it in an email to them, of what your thoughts are!
