Dear Ozbargainers
My Car's Odometer is at 105000km at the moment, (It is a 2012 Citroen C4) and it requires the 100k servicing and also a timing belt change.
I have been quoted $1200 and $1300 respectively. Is this the normal price for a timing belt change? I do not want to pay too much and I am on a tight budget at the moment.
Can anyone help me out with finding a more affordable but competent mechanic in Brisbane or Gold Coast who can replace timing belts?
It would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Yep that's pretty normal for euro major service inc timing belt. Its a real PITA to get to. Give J&J Autofix at Albion (3862 3057) a go on pricing. They do plenty of euros.
