If I recall correctly, the first ever time they offered the price beat, it was for a limited time only. But then it seems they decided that it makes business sense to keep offering it.
I would bet that Jetstar's price beat guarantee is going to be around for at least the next few years.
I certainly hope not, their Price Beat policy has been a massive win both for customers and for them stealing market share.
