Get OW price match $123.25 :)

    • Hm, just checked their policy and it says they'll price match including shipping so that means 5% off 136.95 = 130.43. Still… OW is just down the road!

Available from Telstra still I think with the 35% off - $129.35 with free delivery.

    • They seem to only have the plum?

*edit - for small. Large in black.

    • I wish Telstra had the Vivosmart HR…

      • Same. Rebel have it for $199 at the moment. Can't see many places discounting it yet

        • BUPA

@SrMoure: you have kahunas mentioning BUPA in this neck of the woods.

        • @ilikeit: If u are a BUPA member u could get the VS HR for ~$185

  • Aren't Fitbit being sued in a class action for inaccurate HeartRate monitoring etc?

    • Yeah apparently so - still, I've read a number of reviews (accepting the potential for bias) where they work it pretty hard and it tracks HR ok. One review compared the HR to a Garmin Vivosmart and Polar chest strap, and it was within 1-2bpm at all times. So, maybe it's a "some people" thing? Willing to give it a go…

My bet is this will be grey imported stock and so probably won't get Australian warranty. Can not find local Australian stock near this price.

I don't think Officeworks or another retailer will price match against grey imported stock.

    • Yep, I rang OW and they said the same thing. They also said they wouldn't price match because it wasn't the same colour as the ones they had in stock… <rolls eyes>

Oh well, hopefully someone will get some use out of the deal.

  • Just heads up,
this is a Grey importer" Officeworks usually won't price match unless you get extremely luck. But good luck in any case ;)
depicted by "Seller Warranty" and not "Manufacture warranty".

Then i'm dead right on the mark about it being grey imported stock. Australian retailers won't touch a price match against that. It won't have actual Australian manufacturers warranty either i should think.

A clue on this page http://www.catchdeal.com.au/why-buy-from-us it claims that all their products come with a 12 month seller warranty. They are taking warranty on themselves since it's grey imported stock. I suppose warranty is only as good as they are.

  • This site seems to be a rebadged techrific.com.au

    • Funnily enough they have the same price $127, they just want $30 for shipping while they are at it ;)

  • Should have bought it earlier. From memory it's been $130 at Officeworks for the recent Christmas period.

    • Yup, held off and paid the price! (So to speak)

      • You should have known that due to the aussie dollar tanking that things will going to cost more later on. Prices are not going to go down quite the opposite.

        • Wasn't waiting for prices to go down further… just didn't get around to it! c'est la vie

Got it from Officeworks Ebay over new year for $107.9 *$130 -$19.50 (15% off) -$2.60 (Cashrewards)…

      It's the little wins!

  • Kogan.
    Grey.
    No thanks.

okok my first deal was a turkey… I get it! ;-) the hunt goes on :-)

    • It's ok if you don't mind grey import stock and the lack of Australian manufacturers warranty.

    • Ha Ha
Not at all mate… we're just purely adding additional information that other OZ bargain peeps might not know about this particular site. It's Not to say it isn't a " Bargain of a deal" just that it has some hidden aspects. However, nicely done in any case.

    • Nope - no negs yet. Wot hollykryten sed.
      Well played [upon].

  • Nevermind

    • Great album!.

  • A dumb question, what are the differences between this one and the $40 ones on ebay? Know nothing about this kind of product, but want to get one.

    • Ones for $40 on eBay are probably counterfeit.

  • Went to officeworks to price match this, and they were trying to find every excuse in the book not to honour it.
one guy even tried to say 'oh there's a 15% restocking fee so it's not the same warranty, really sorry I'd love to but I gotta check' then when he asked someone else no such policy exists.

They only price matched for the Telstra shop, and even then they were reluctant and tried to claim it might be an old page and that the deal is no longer on…

Took a good 20 of my life, usually never have this much trouble.

    • They didn't price match because this deal from catchdeal.com.au is grey import stock with no Australian manufacturers warranty. So i don't know why you're complaining about them not price matching a grey imported stock deal.

They priced matched the Telstra shop deal because Telstra doesn't sell grey import stock.

      It's as simple as that.

      • He never mentioned that it was grey import, the two of them just kept looking for excuses but couldn't find any.

They even tried the same thing with the Telstra shop claiming that I may have found an old webpage (not sure how I could do that or have that page cached on one of their computers)

I've done many price matches with OW this is the most trouble I have ever had.
