Looking for a cheap one that i can slap with some monocel (marine grade varnish ) and leave in the yard.
Anyone know if this brand is ok?

Good quality (Stiga) ones aren't made from chipboard, but I still wouldn't want to put them in the sun.
Yep, gumtree is the only place im looking. Not sure about long temr expsure either….Couple coats of Monocel will do the job but any warping will lead to cracking …craxking will leade to absorbtion of water. Would tarp it up when not in use

maybe be better off using that black film plywood and make your own?
Yeh thought about it but not worht it after time and labour - can get full set up for $50 on gumtree, diy would be 3x that plus the hours
Get a free one from gumtree and replace the wood with marine ply?
These are available for almost free on gumtree and ebay 2nd hand.
I would be dubious about outdoors, as I think they are all made of chipboard or MDF so any moisture would see substantial buckling. Not sure if the varnish sealant would be enough.
