So I bought a reddit key from S5ean due to his reputation and it won't activate. It says, "Product Key Didn't Work". I'm wondering if it is because of my machine or the key. i think it's the key because my machine is brand new.

Did you download the correct installer?
Stupid question but it must be asked - Have you double and triple checked you typed in the right letters/sequence? You never know! It's happened to me with a retail copy of Windows! Also make sure the right installer was used.

What key did you buy?
Are you attempting to activate the key on the wrong version of Windows? (e.g you bought a Home edition key and are activating on a Professional version of windows?)
What does the error code say?
For e.g an error code may look like
0xC004F210
0xC004E016
and so on
Have you tried turning it off and then on?

You get what you pay for however, i got a good service. Win 7 key is still working and it has been over 6 months :)
Much rather get a semi dodgy service than pay 100 + for Win7
Do they still have windows upgrade keys? Perhaps it's not an OEM key, but a key for upgrading an existing version of windows.

You haven't made the effort to say which key you bought, your computer's specs and current OS. Why should anyone help you?
Just send him a message. He should be able to send you a new key
The keys sold on that subreddit are keys illegally split out from MSDN subscriptions and resold. You may as well just torrent Windows, at least you're not paying someone to pirate it then.
Chargeback the payment, and go purchase Windows legally. Don't give money to pirates.
