I have googled without any luck so I thought I would put it on here. My partner doesn't have an online paid ps4 account but when he gets out of a game that he put in the ps4 he can always hear French people playing a game against each other you can hear them talking to each other, laughing etc… He said he couldn't of been hacked because he doesn't have a paid account. (Obviously I have no tech knowledge) Does anyone have any idea what's going on? It's very weird!

What game is it? A lot of games have custom background music/sound effects when you've selected the game from the home screen. If it's only one game then this is what he is hearing
Could be a theme he's using has background track that has french people? It could be perhaps a video app is playing in the background (xbox with tv tuner does this sometimes, not sure about ps4), and is it an online game, he may of been added to a party chat and that's persisted outside the game.
I think this is the most likely cause, that he's auto joining back into a party chat.

Ok jokes aside he's not even in a game when it happens… But when it happens again I'll record it and post it up :) no answers yet and no he's not on drugs nor do we live near a French cemetery lol thanks
that is just the video and screenshots that you can scroll down and look at.
when you are in the main menu a go down from the game you can see Overview and it shows player submitted videos etc. They seem to auto start playing so thats what you can hear. Perfectly normal, go and have a look and you'll see.
