Will this fit my Nerf gun?

  • +6

    I no scope everything.

    • +3

Did you spin 360 as well before shooting?

    • +2

nope. it's an 'accessory' rather than an essential part

    • Yes.
We buy all of our Nikon & Zeiss scopes & DNZ mounts from a licensed & authorised Australian gun distributor. There is no license requirement for buying & selling rifle scopes.

Our Nikon & Zeiss spotting scopes & binoculars come from the same distributor

Its a scope. nothing is dangerous about it in any way shape or form. By the way your talking you'd expect to need a license for a camera lens too? Maybe you feel even binoculars need one to huh.. Be realistic…

    • +1

      Can scopes kill people?

      • +7

No but the level of ignorance displayed in these comments certainly could.

        • -4

Fair enough but no need to neg comments for some one asking a simple question.

        • I've ordered scopes from overseas and they came thru customs and they dont care.

Why does a camera store sell gun accessories?

    • +17

Same reason we sell binoculars, spotting scopes & telescopes.
Same reason that some of the biggest brands in rifle scopes are also some of the biggest brands in camera lenses.
Rifle scopes have a much closer relationship to camera lenses than they do to guns - apart from the obvious.

    • +1

Why do they sell spotting scopes? Spotting scopes are used for sighting your scope long distance. YET the same spotting scopes are used by photographers who use it for wildlife photos as you can purchase camera mounts to attach to the spotting scope.

They are also used by bird watchers.

      It's a SCOPE!

Going by your argument pharmacists are morally culpable for selling syringes to 'drug addicts'.

    • Well, camera and gun shops both sell products that are capable of "shooting".

my apologies for asking a perfectly legitimate question.

I thinking of sticky taping it on the back of my mobile phone around where the rear camera is. and see if I can take a picture with my new 3-9X40 optical zoom. Should I get one guys?

    • +3

      Yes. Please post pics.

    • your better off getting a cheap phone case and gluing PVC pipe that perfectly fits the end of the scope to the camera area of the case. that way you can position it to center before you glue and then it can fit onto the scope without having u hold it and loosing focus all the time.

      • Nice!

    • What type of pictures are hoping to scope for?

      • wildlife

Is this practical to use like a pirate would to spot the shore? or are there better products in the market for this?

    • You are after a spotting scope.

    • Spotting scope as rbaggio has suggested. But keep in mind to look for the ones with ED glass as they are much clearer but more expensive. I own one with ED glass and have compared it to a non ED glass spotting scope and could notice a massive difference.

      • spotting scope has a much bigger lens and catches more light and doesn't have the physical constraints of a rifle scope so they serve different purposes.

I need to get a spotting scope for my archery, though the budget will relegate me to ebay, would have liked one when I did competitive shooting.

It's over 30 cm long so, unless you need the variable magnification, a Spotting Scope would be better from a practical point of view.

Personally I would suggest this Spotting Scope for the full pirate effect.

You'll still require one of these: http://wiggles.wikia.com/wiki/File:Feathersword.jpg

It's weird that pirates would go shore to shore looking for buried treasure, when the real treasure was in the friendships they were making.

And the real booty on those lonesome sea voyages was always to be found in the bunk bed above you.

      South Park meme aside:

      1. The post is for a scope - not a gun

      2. Guns, as well as scopes, are inanimate objects

        Well said.
