Avant's battery has more than twice the capacity yet it lasts around the same but also much shorter standby time? The Avant one looks to have comfier foam. Also, what's the difference between BT2.0 and BT1.2?
just guessing but it may be that the nokia supports bt version 1.2 wherease the above supports bt version 2
i am wondering if the avanti is backward compatible with the lower standard bt 1.2 it should be you would think
Awesome post thank you
looks like a useful item - good shipping cost!
how's the sound quality from these? Never trusted the music quality of BT headphones…
The nokia ones are exellent, i have many pairs of wired and even sony dj headphones , these come close to the better wired ones i have.
Never had a problem with distortion on interference it just drops out when i leave the phone or whatever its connected to more than 4 metres away
Good deal!
Is that a mini or a micro USB charger?
i just got mine today.. it's neither.. i dunno what it is.. but it's like a mini one without the wider bit. and it's definitely not micro.
as for the unit itself, well it's going alright so far.. i've successfully paired it with my laptop and samsung i900 at the same time (so you can stream music from the laptop and answer calls). sometimes it autoconnects to both, sometimes it doesn't. the call quality is good, but the microphone seems to cut out a lot.. also, i can't seem to get the microphone to work with the laptop, unless i connect to the HFP device instead of the normal AS1 device. but that mode sux because the sound can ony be set to telephone-quality :S as for music quality on standard mode, it's not that great.. lacks bass.. far inferior to standard sony neckbands
oh and when the phone rings, the ringtone doesn't go to the headset, instead it makes some beep sounds while you're listening to music (while the phone keeps ringing).. i've never had a BT headset before so i dunno if that's how it's supposed to work
just bought it see hows going compare with my logitech one which is cost $99 1.5 yr ago
