Where to find a Cheap Slow Charger for my Android Smartphone?

Does anyone know where I can get a cheap 300Mah charger or above to replace my current one? I just need something that will charge my phone overnight and keep it powered whilst it runs an automation program to control my lights.

I was thinking about getting a powerboard with usb ports on it as they seem cheaper than a standalone charger, but then I realised there might be some cheap smart phones with a reasonable charger attached.

Does anyone know the cheapest method to get a spare charger?

Are there any good ones with a tick on eBay?

Word of advice, don't buy cheap chargers. Just spend the $30 to have peace of mind.
Dicksmith have a sale on Belkin chargers (instore). Buy one of those or go for the OEM chargers.

    • Yeah, I'm a bit paranoid about why a powerboard with USB ports would be cheaper than a standalone charger.

I can't make up my mind.

$30 for a USB charger sounds very expensive.

      How about something like: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/230092

There is something very similar to this in bigw for about $10.

Alternatively ask friends? I have about 10+ USB chargers sitting around from previous purchases that will never get used - I though most people have a drawer full of these too!

      • Thanks, I'll take a look.

Mine mostly die within a year. I think that is because I am using to power the devices 24/7. This current one I use to control my light bulbs to turn on and off at certain times during the day to give an appearance that I am still at home.

I would use a computer but phones are pretty good when it comes to saving power. Raspberry Pi requires more amps so I generally save the 2A charger for that. I got one for around $15 from Element14.
