Does anybody know if it is possible to pick up cheap passes to any of the lounges at Abu Dhabi Airport, something similar to the Qantas Club passes that can be found for sale from time to time that are issued from the banks.
If not any suggestion on what to do to get some rest during a 10 hour stopover.

Your best bet for a 10 hour stopover might be to stay at the Premier Inn at Abu Dhabi Airport. I've seen rooms there for less than $90. Your alternatives are the Al Reem Lounge which you can pay in to, however it's $70 for 2 hours so not great value. Abu Dhabi also has sleep pods that you can hire but a room will be a better bet, especially if you are travelling with a partner or family.

This is still valid and can be used in three of the lounges at AUH. £15 Per Visit = AUD $31.
Go and have a look around Abu Dhabi. It will be really nice weather there and it is a cool city to walk around.
Grab a lounge pass as well, but I wouldn't spend 10 hours in there.
