What Is The Best Value Annual Pass for Mother with Two and Half Year Old on Northern Beaches Sydney?

I think the wet and wild is not very youth person friendly for my son 's height as he is only 90cm tall…

What about this deal:

Does family pass have a photo? As sometime dad or papa or granny with take my son to the parks.

Anything else to add?

Given that you live so close to so many beaches, and your son is still so young, I'd say get a bus pass!

Make a plan to visit every beach you can find, not just the ocean beaches between Manly and Palm Beach but also the harbour ones e.g. Fairlight, Balmoral (family friendly) and Pittwater ones e.g. The Basin (catch a ferry from Palm Beach.

I grew up in Manly but we could only go to the beaches that were in walking distance (no car, big family, limited income) e.g. Shelly Beach (family friendly). I preferred the pools over the ocean and you'll find quite a few indoor pools have swimming classes for young ones.

The Merlin pass you linked seems like a good deal, but I'd save the "big day out" parks for when he's bigger. He'll enjoy free/cheap things like a ferry ride, a local play centre, the library, his favourite park or favourite beach for many years to come.

P.S. Message me if you want any Entertainment Book vouchers for your area.

    • Thanks so much.

I have put sun cream 50+ on my son together with swimmers that is 50+, however he is always got Sunburn where is not covered by clothes and skin starts to pill off.

I found that the flying fox park at Mona Vale has a sun shed on the top. Do you know any other parks on the northern beaches that got sun shed?

My son love to feed the duckling at Narrabeen lakes too:)

We had our Christmas party at the Basin —- it is amazing:)

How could I message you for the Entertainment Book vouchers for my area? Are you sure that you do not need them anymore?

Sorry I haven't messaged you yet with some further ideas and regarding the vouchers. I'll get back to you soon.

    • Hey JoFord,

What do you mean by a bus pass?

Sorry, I'm old school. It has been so long since I lived at the Northern Beaches, it was even before the days of the Travel Tens. You used to be able to get a weekly bus ticket at a set price that you could use an unlimited number of times during the week.

I guess nowadays it's an Opal card.
