Smoked Salmon @ $6.79 for 450g - Costco Ringwood, Vic [Membership Required]

Just found these packs of smoked salmon on clearance at Costco Ringwood.

" The very finest smoked and gravad salmon from around the world" Trio Pack 450gr.
-Organic Irish Smoked Salmon
-Traditional Scottish Smoked Salmon
- Genuine Norwegian Gravad Norwegian Salmon

On the shelf, the price is displayed at $9.97. But at check out, they scanned at $6.97. I was told by the cashier that they were originally $30 a pack. He was surprised they are so cheap.
Granted, the shelf life is short. Some with expiry date on 15/1/16. But there were some packs with expiry on 21/1/16.
I guess you can always freeze them before the expiry date for later consumption.

You still have 2 hours to get them before store closes at 8:30 pm tonight!!

  Quite good price also at Coles, By George Smoked Salmon from Norway 1kg pack Clearance now $20. While stocks last.
  Unfortunately I can't eat that much so I had to contend with Coles, Tassal Smoked Salmon now 350gm pack for $10.50($35/kg).

  I got some WW gold smoked salmon 400g for $4 the other day, not enough quantity left though, expires 24-01-16.
  I'm having excessive amount of smoked salmon sandwich since, can't complain.

  Plenty of this salmon was in Moorabbin Costco (VIC) yesterday evening, the best before date is 16/01/2016. Also there were cheesy kransky 3x300g pack at $2.97 the best before date is also 16/01/2016
