whats the different between TVSN and the White van speaker scam?

One screws you in the comfort of your living room and the other screws you in the comfort of your car. The end result is the same.

  • UHD at 30Hz?

    • Most likely. Can't find the model anywhere…

My mom just came into the room talking about this crap. She already bought a 60"+ from them last January.

You really should block the TVSN channel if possible. Old people and home shopping is never a good mix. While you're at it, delete the 74Me channel. If she sees that "Call and Win" show, you'll be down at least a hundred dollars.

DGTEC was crap when they ran there own show many years ago …. to think some chinese company has bought the name to gain a bit of an easier ride into the market fills me with dread

All I know of them is the crappy tablets they had at DSE, but I'd avoid them just from that experience…

    • DGTEC has had a bad reputation in the repair trade - known as DodGyTEC. They slap their trademark on whatever cheapest product they can find. So in general it's just rebadged rubbish.

I've contacted them about very poorly designed firmware. I had worked out the design by the faults in a unit they sold & put a work around solution on Whirlpool. They didn't want to know. After sales service was a joke.

      AVOID DodGyTEC.
