When to book cruise for end Feb 2016? Is CruiseGuru credible booking site?

I am looking to book a cruise for end of Feb for my parents (around 14 nights) and wondering whether I should attend the expo that will be happening this Wednesday in Sydney or book directly on the website where I saw the fare discount? I have never attended these expos and am a bit concerned I might miss out on the deal offered. Has anyone here had any luck in getting a really good deal from the cruise expos?

    I know Qantas cruises is powered by cruise guru so they're legit. I found the best price I could get was with ozcruising though. And great customer service too

      Thanks for your reply. Cruiseguru and ozcruising was the same price except that Cruiseguru gave us $200 onboard credit whereas ozcruising didn't. I ended up booking via Qantas website last night. Thanks for the heads up.

    Cruiseabout is a Flight Centre business and I know that pricing for airfares is generally very good at their expo events so it might be the same with cruise prices. I don't think there is much risk in waiting two more days to have a look at the expo.

    yeh i was sus when i booked with CruiseGuru (well before i did) until i realised they powered Qantas's cruise site so I booked with them. This is about 13 months ago. Smooth transaction with no issues. Gave me a killer price too!

    I found that cruiseoffers.com.au to be cheaper than most of the cruise website out there, have booked once with them and everything went smoothly no problem at all.

      I have already booked last night. But can do a quick check now for the comparison price just for own interest and potential future bookings. The price was $11 cheaper per person, however, Qantas gave double the onboard credit.

        ah ok, didn't realised that, I might check out Qantas and see if I can get a good deal for a cruise in the USA that I'm looking at, cheers.

    Booked a few with cruise guru no issues found them the best and saved on credit card fees also
