There's the one upstairs in Market City that's $2.50/plate with a Student Card OR a Market City parking ticket.
Sushizilla upstairs in CentralPark I think is $2.80/plate?
Sushi Rio in the city is $3/plate all the time.
Sushi Hotaru used to be $3/plate but is now $3.30/plate.

This would be good for people that want free parking/live closer to Randwick though I guess?

    • sushizilla is $2.9/plate.
and Sushi Hotaru is horrible. ate twice (different stores), vomitted twice.

      • $2.90 now is it?
Ok. I remember when they had $2/plate. That was awesome. Not great quality but I found it great for the price.
I've always found Sushi Hotaru to be quite decent. But their 10% price hike made me look elsewhere LOL

was a frequent customer back then when they had $2 plates.

Sushi Hotaru was alright until that time I vomitted. First time they offered a 20% off so I gave them another chance. The second time I vomitted - I never went back.

While the deal is more expensive than its competitors' everyday prices, I expect there to be premium sushi which are also priced at $3 (the ones which are normally $5-$7); whereas with the competitors, they only have the same everyday average sushi.

  • yaaaassss!!!! sushi train is the best sushi i have found so far!

Sushi Fushion acrros the street from it selling $3/plate all time for all kinds of sushi. Some sushi you have to order it from the counter but cost $3/plate as well. Love their salmon sashimi.

  • Kura Kura on the conour across from market city has the best sushi. but its not a sushi train they make it fresh for you.

    • Sorry tried them and not a big variety at all. Small servings of sashimi also. Uni Sushi at Haymarket does a better job.

      • I am more for quality then quantity no where beats kura kura both of the stores are good but they are a bit pricey. try the chicken curry its so good! i have tried heaps of sushi joints the one at Broadway use to be good.

  • Do we have a forum on best & cheapest sushi around? Sushi Dragon at Brighton is good but expensive. Sushi at Cronulla used to be good but new owners and pricing gone up.
