I've been keen to try Evolve ever since it was released. I just didn't get around to it as it had some mixed reviews.
Anyway, for ~28AUD, it could be yours as a hard copy too.

EB have it on sale for $36 with limited local stock as it retails for $59.95

Hey! you save $8!

      500 in-game only dude.

The game sold more than 500 copies worldwide.

yes thats my point. 500 online which is whats relevent if you want to find a match. in Australia proably only a handful of people.

just letting people know before buying since this is primarily a multiplayer game and difficulty in matching with players is a major concern.

        • You should factor in time of day, and many other factors though.

I understand your point, yes it's hard to find a game but shouldn't use that stat alone

        • how many people do you need to play a game? It's not like battlefield where you want 64 players on a large server right -its 5 people? thats 100 games going on at that time seems like a few opportunities to play to me.

    • Strange, I can't see that under the general:

Was hoping this would evolve into a decent game but it was a monster of a flop.

    • Weird given the same team that did the well-known Left for Dead

      • The original L4D was done by them, but Valve made quite a few improvements to it when they acquired it.
Apparently, the original L4D wasn't that flash.

Game was good and well developed they flopped when they wanted to make a lots of micro-transactions and make people pay for each monster it was something like $500 in total to buy all the monsters and stuff just to play the game completely beyond stupid

That's why most people abandoned it if it was just a 1 of payment for full game i can almost guarantee it would of went well and been more popular

thats not true. Majority of the DLC at launch were cosmetics (eg. skins). The game came with 12 hunters and 3 monsters. The things that they went wrong are as follow:
        - People had the assumption that if you purchase the "hunter season pass" they will get all the coming and future DLCs (which is not the case).
        - they are now releasing one new character at a time instead of as a package.
        - Hunt 2.0 kinda killed it for the casual players.

Other than that, it is still a great game.

  • Sad, needed a single player mode.

    • +1

it does, you can play all the modes against A.I bots

      • That's awesome, will pick it up then.

  • I have it for the PS4 and it should have been game of the year but the devs went all DLC on it and fckt it up
