I did see one at Vinnies the other day (with wheels and a seat that is pushed along) didn't look closely as didnt know anyone in need of.
can also rent from pharmacy or local independent living association?
Often, opshops have these. (People pass away, families donate them.) You could be lucky to pick one up cheap, & just clean.
