The description on the website has bad punctuation haha
This is a rip off for bamboo infusedd undies,..
Sounds like a scam!
Infused* :)
I guess we all make mistakes sometimes
Price in the title? 15% off what? I bought a two pack of cotton briefs at target yesterday for $4, so I expect price for these should be about $7 for it to be closely called a deal?
Edit: $40? And your website bags out nylon then goes on to say your baboo underpants are actually nylon. Nope
90% Bamboo 10% Nylon - Much higher quality than you will find anywhere else
Small business just kicking off, website is still a work in progress
Considering the price of Bonds these days… This is a bargain
"Small business just kicking off". So when did they get "famous"?
I'm glad I wasn't the only one to think this.
Australian sense of humor :)
You can often find good Bonds or similar for $5-7 per pair, certainly that's all an Ozbargainer would be paying. Only mugs pay full retail for undies. However I don't mind the price you have - just don't like that style. I find any undies with legs roll up when you put your pants on.
If you are happy with Bonds, then that's great. These were designed for people in hot climates, tradies or just any man looking for something better than $7. They are comfy, don't ride up and don't chaff. We have had very positive reviews and are getting a following in Bali at the moment.
If you want a high quality hand made product, try these.
looking for something better than $7
These aren't better than $7
Have you worn them? What are you basing your opinion on? Considering the price, why don't you get a pair and find out. The discount code is now active for a single pair. Take them for a spin and then see what you think of these vs cotton undies
You claimed
the comfiest undies you'll ever wear
What are you basing your opinion on?
Have you worn mine?
What I'd like to see is a photo of them turned inside out so you can see what sort of seam they have.
Find that most don't ride up or chaff, that is until you hit around the 3 hours mark. Actually found the ~$20 champion 3 packs pretty good. Managed a 7 hour walk with them holding up. From the look of these, I don't see them holding up to that kind of punishment.
These are dangerous if you work with pandas !!!
Can't go to Adelaide zoo with these then. Lol.
You will need a better deal to sway OzB to try these.
If I buy these and they aren't comfortable, can I get a refund ?
Yeah, if they ride up of chafe or aren't comfortable are you willing to offer a refund?
Given this is bamboo and the atrocious grammar and punctuation on your site, it seems highly appropriate to recommend you pick up a copy of Eats, Shoots & Leaves (I made sure the copy was on sale too)
Looking at the pictures on the website, the undies look stretched and saggy….just the type of thing I wouldn't want. Certainly not for that much dosh either…sorry, but not a bargain at all.
I'd be concerned about that; I bought my daughter a bamboo rash vest and it only lasted about 8 wears before it was badly stretched to the point of being useless.
Hence why we use Organic Cotton in our shirts. It works really well for socks and jocks but when used over larger areas it tends to stretch out when washed.
High quality hand made it claims. Hmmm
In downtown beautiful Bali. We setup shop here due to the availability of high quality materials
What did I just read? The description on your site needs fixing.
IMO, this is not a bargain at this price.
How are any of these negs valid? All of them are based on speculation, and comparisons to different products. OzBargain can be pretty unfair sometimes.
How are any of these negs valid?
Items are not good value for money.
OP hasn't demonstrated why this is a bargain.
comparisons to different products.
Better and cheaper 'other' products
It appears to be a genuine 15% off OzBargain exclusive, with a further 5% available.
Less than $10 for a pair of bamboo daks appears to be pretty cheap.
How do you know 'other' products are better? Speculation.
Nobody has given a legit reason why this deal deserves 6 negs.
Just because something is 15% off, doesn't make it a bargain.
I can't see anything in the description that shows me these are better than 100% cotton ones that I can buy cheaper.
@jv: You can't see where it says 'Bamboo'? Just because you can't see the value in it doesn't mean it deserves negs.
@Aids: Thanks, you were not the only person to feel this way as we did get sales from this listing. The website will be improved this week and will see what happens next time!
@FreshiesClubAU: Good! Granted it wasn't the most amazing deal I've seen here, but you're selling a premium product, which people on the bandwagon failed to recognise. Definitely didn't deserve the bashing you received. You even got down voted for that comment!
Good luck, and I'm glad you're not discouraged.
They are valid because nobody reported them… either that or they got reported and the mods consider them to be valid.
This is 300% overpriced
There's also no mention whether these are 'new' or refurbs
How come you never neg jv
Oh dear, that is a worry if that even needs to be asked! How do you even refurb undies?
Thank you all for your feedback. We have taken it on board and will be posting another promotion when we polish up our website for you all.
Although there was quite a bit of negativity around our punctuation and confusion as to the difference between Bamboo fabric and Cotton, there were also a number of customers that have decided to give a sustainable fabric choice a try, and we are happy to let these customers know that their products were shipped this morning! Which is what we were after, because we are very confident in our product and are making most our sales from word of mouth at the moment.
For those looking to give it a try, the coupon code now applies to all underwear packs.
Good on you for staying professional and factual while being critiqued. On occasion here a rep can get tested like this, they don't all handle themselves as well.
4 x underpants for $44…
Am I missing something here?
