The RRP is ridiculously high, but this seems pretty good for $36.
Shipping is $7

That goes for basically any non-stick type of pan. You wouldn't use these for searing a steak on or anything like that.
Use it for eggs and anything that would be on a more low to medium heat and you will be fine.Expensive solution for frying an egg…
Did I make any comment about this being cheap or expensive?
@bluedez_man: a frying pan with an RRP of $215 should be "fit for purpose" for frying a steak, not just for frying egg. Pretty sure they don't market these as being so limited in purpose.
@Make it so: You seem to have some kind of problem about what I have stated….so feel free to read it again.
I have not made any statements about the cost of this item (be it the RRP, the price listed above etc) or anything else of its nature. I have made a very general comment about non-stick pans which is that they do not do well in high heat. If anything, it corroborates what you have stated….so I really don't see what your problem is.@bluedez_man: whether you state it or not, this pan is expensive. When you comment, you need to do it in the context of the article and its price.
You said that the problem I pointed out goes for any non-stick pan, but this pan isn't priced like any other.
Also, your use of the word "wouldn't" implies that's not what it is meant to be used for, which I disagree with.@Make it so: I didn't realise that this was going to be such an editorial piece. Look, I honestly don't care. Enjoy your ongoing trolling.
You don't know what trolling means.
Also, 'Make it so' was clearly just making a lighthearted comment about spending $215 solely for a fried egg, which I found amusing. Not sure why you took it so personally. Also, don't get me wrong, I loathe non-stick pots/pans as much as much as anybody.
Good for the rubbish bin
Does it come in pink?
These do not cope well with heat as has already been alluded to
I find the inability to cope with high heat a real sticking point of these pans.
A frypan unable to cope with the heat to fry a steak? Bloody unAustralian that is. This is OZBargain right???
It's a bloody outrage it is.
$9.50 shipping to Newcastle :-(
They don't last at high temperatures. Keep your receipt because you may need that warranty, although use under "high" temperatures isn't covered.
