Please, please, PLEASE don't waste your money on this.

I've purchased gadgets like this in the past many times (some people might remember a similar offering in a light bulb shape), and believe me the novelty will wear off extremely quickly.

You'll be lucky if it lasts two days…

    • +5

Are you telling me not to make 1,0000 accounts, buy all of them and sell them on ebay for $10 each? Is that what you're telling me?

      • -6

Feel free to make some cash with that impeccable business idea, but I feel sorry for the nuff-nuffs who would fall for this garbage at a price of $10…

    • +5

I probably wouldn't waste my time filling in details/making an account, but if you're saying it lasted two days, and provided you some novelty, surely 14 cents is not a bad deal.

    • +4

Come on, for 14c you can't expect these to last forever like as if they had a solar cell mounted onto them (though that would be an interesting idea). Alternatively, kids wouldn't mind if they lasted 2 days. I'm sure they would keep them nonetheless and use it as some sort of special credit card in their games, or whatever their imaginations dictate (depending on their age of course).

+1 for spinning a fine yarn, well done

as a special credit card, do you think it could be used to purchase magic beans?

        • +3

I don't know about you guys but I still remember my years in primary school. A lot of play time in K-2 was setting up fake shops and selling stuff. Though I probably wouldn't give this to my old Kindergarten self given my propensity to lose things back then.

A piece of junk is still a piece of junk, no matter at what price

    • +2

One man's junk is another man's treasure.

      • -4

        treasure

        High expectations there…

      • -1

I m pretty sure no-one will ever use the word 'treasure' to describe this fine piece of junk, nor 'treasure' this as a possession

In this case, one man's junk is still another man's junk

If you pay with paypal they still charge the full price 88 cents usd.
    Not a deal

    • That's strange. Did you use the coupon and did it apply successfully at the shopping cart page? Have you tried the standard checkout first and unticked the postal insurance?

It's bugged like the last minion build set from DealsMachine. When you use paypal it reverts back to the standard price.

    • Not again, I'll try contacting someone to try to look into it. Though might be a bit hard given that it's the weekend.

      • Yeah k, not in a hurry with this one. More interested in the other build sets though.

    • Hi Kak,sorry for the inconvenience,we are fixing the bug now.

    • Minions are cool!

Hahaha jv I guess beer o'clock came early for you today…

  • Yep broken, it charged me $18 even though free postage was chosen.

    • +1

That's very unfortunate. Could you try it again but via the Standard Checkout button rather than direct to PayPal from the shopping cart page. Remember to untick the postal insurance. Let me know if the system no longer lets you use the coupon.

    • Hi Reaper, sorry for the inconvenience, could you pls try to click the flat rate shipping,I just checked and my final Grand Total went to $0.1
Hope you have a nice weekend!

How bright is this? Could I use it when reading a book, fixing the car etc?

    • +2

      Answer: No.

In all seriousness a tealight candle would give you far better luminosity than this crap.

      • Lol ok I will skip then as I just cleaned out all the garbage in my home for New Years and don't need to start collecting more.

My car glovebox still has the "light bulb" card in it from a previous deal, still works after all this time.(well I replaced the battery in it)
    Purchased one from you OP!
    Great deal!

    And to the haters,
The deal is good, the products are worth what you pay for it and then some. Your negs are NOT VALID!

    To the OP,
Kids should not be encouraged to use these due to batterys around kids issues

    • Can you use it for emergencies in your car?

      • You'd be straining really, really hard to read a book with this.

      • +1

I use it to light up my glovebox, works great!

  • I got band 9 in IELTS and what is LED Pocket Rabbit Wallet Card Light

    • It is a card-shaped light which has a fold-out rabbit with a LED inside it, small enough to fit in your pocket or wallet.

Strong negative correlation between username and explanation.

        • ?

Did you get the bold function for Christmas ?

        • +1

Nope, got it for Easter. Just forgot to use it until recently.

        • @KaptnKaos: maybe you should buy one of these so you don't lose the bold in the dark?

        • +1

          @ozy:

          It's not bright enough…

  • +1

What is with all the hate.

I got the light bulb one last time and thought it wasn't bad.
    It works as expected.
I have it next to my bed for use sometimes to light things up… it isn't meant to be lighting up the whole room.

  • Thanks OP ..ordered.

  • Yeah I have the light bulb version from a previous giveaway. Even when new, it was never bright. More a gimmick than useful.
