Not sure how good a deal this is - it's $1,999 compared to RRP of $2,999. It has been cheaper previously (as low as $1,840), but this is the best I can see available at the moment.

I think 2.5 - 3m for 65 inch screen is ok.
Each to their own, the science and justification is there for you to read and agree/disagree with in the link. I am sitting 213cm away from my 55inch 1080p panel and I can notice some pixelation and about a metre from a 27inch 4k panel

I do think that is an unfair statement as we do plenty of things in inches and feet…for example the size of television screens

I purchased this model and while the picture is fantastic during the day, the backlight bleeds through the corners at night.
I am currently waiting for it to be assessed to see if it is a defect. (I doubt it is a defect, as I have read MANY poor reviews. Please do your research before purchasing. http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/uf6800)

Thanks for the warning. Good luck with your investigation! That is some pretty terrible bleed through; I wouldn't accept that.
The UF680T also cheats in sub pixels. It uses RGBW for sub pixels therefore it's not a true 4K panel. Done a fair bit of comparison and went for the 65X8500c instead.
