  • Shows up as (OLD PRICE: AUD16.79) AUD11.19 Save: 33% off. $7.99 is USD

  • Good game, but does anyone know what the usual price is? About 11.19 aud, assuming the 10% off comes off the 11.19 aud given the topic title?

Amazon's saboteur price seems like $20+ USD so abit confused what the value of this is normally worth.

Buyers beware…I have purchased one with that same picture before from somewhere else; this Chinese print on the box almost guarantees that its a fake - low quality cards (Cheap flakey cardstock edges on the cards) and tokens printed on cheap thick board. Would recommend going to games shop and purchase from there for a tad more, support your local shop and the publisher/designer of the game; my local game shops have them for 16aud usually.

    • I did notice the non-english symbol on the top right, good spot - so you do not think the publisher actually makes a variant, and that the lower quality is all but non-official, non-genuine game?

      • I have done a little more research, according to BGG…

"There is a fake version going around which says its released by Z-Man Games but Z-Man Games never released and does not hold the rights to a Chinese version."
"…Chinese Saboteur is released by AMIGO Spiele as they are the true versions of the Chinese release."

  • I can confirm I bought this from eBay for $12 and the first box came with 2 lots of the same cards. Playable but not too the rules. They delivered me the correct cards later so all good in the end. The card quality is poorer than usual (90%) but it didn't matter for me as we will never play this enough for it to be a problem. The lost cities game on the other hand has quite poor cards (50-60%) and they will likely only last a year at most. Lucky because my wife beats me every time.

    • Wait.. what is "poor cards". are you saying fake?

WIth a gameboard like i've played, cards are cards - a genuine gameboard the cards should be 100% the same, good quality, good print. Maybe a bit of variance but not a distinguishable quality difference?

So is there an actual quality difference indicating these aren't genuine? IN which case that puts abit of light on the price if so… and if they represent to sell a product it shouldn't be non-genuine…. i would legally think they can't if so?
