what made you decide on the older model tomtom?
i got the newer model runner 2 also known as the spark.
but returned it after a few weeks as it wasnt great.Actually my brother chose it. I have no clue about sports watches. So which brand do you recommend?
all depends on what you are using it for or hope to get out of it.
all have different features, and what feature is most important to the reason you want one.
be it heart rate tracking, activity / sleep tracking. running,swimming, gps, phone notifications, etc.
maybe have a look at the basis peak. only available in the US.
I see thank you. It's actually for him so I'm not sure which feature is he most keen on. I'll ask him. I assume he will mainly use it for running so gps and heart rate will be most important
Why did you return it?
few reasons, you can read the tomtom board for the current issues.
a) no all day heart tracking. ( they say due this year)
b) delay in checking steps.
c) everytime i used the swim mode and did the same swim, it was miscalculated the distance and laps. different each time, didnt work.
