  Wait until Wednesday if possible, there is 20% off recharges with a $2 sim card purchase at Woolworths.
  You don't have to use the recharge on the $2 sim. If I recall, it comes printed on the receipt.

  There is also the $30 starter pack for $10.

      Yep, but you can also get a $2 telstra sim too at Woolworths, so might be worth the time if they wanted to do so.

      $2+$10 v $24+$2 outlay.

  I have a bunch of $10 SIM Cards which Optus allows me to stack the credit if I swap to another one because I "Lost" it.

      I called up one time because I lost the SIM card, they let me transfer my service onto another $10 starter kit, and I ended up with an extra $10 in credit, so I know it's possible
