Not sure if anyone is an Immigration expert but wanted to try my luck. I want to sponsor my family which includes Father, Mother and Brother. I was thinking of just sponsoring my mum and brother (18+ years) is studying so he can be a dependent. I have heard the fee is like crazy $ 55k per person by the Government. However, I am not sure if my brother will be able to get sponsor as they can say the dad is not coming. Mum and Dad both work.

i hope your parents aren't old or in a rush to get here if you want to do the non fast tracked method
There can be long waiting times of up to 30 years before this visa is approved.
Thanks Paul. But the brother is a dependent on the parents …. Student visa is more risky as my brother is not a PHD class but an average student so finding it hard to stay with my family and get them here.
Here is one visa you can probably use …. https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/115- but you are right, they may refuse this visa because your dad will still be overseas.
Get him to marry an aussie girl. That will grant him passage into the country.
How about they just go on holidays?
Helps the economy where they were born and helps us with tourist dollars.
Or if you want to see your family, go back for a holiday or even stay.
Thanks guys I might take the holiday option. Works out cheaper and gives time to save if I am interested in long run for anything.
First, You are mixing 2 things.
The $55K/person is only for fast-track parents immigration. (So your brother is excluded from that category).
For your brother, the easier way is to get him a student visa. And then after he finish his studies he needs to qualify against the points system to get his permanent resident visa.
