there are tons of free hosting services available online, just search "free web hosting"
or get hosting + domain from godaddy.com its cheaper
I get a VPS with 50GB of space, 1-2GB of RAM and 1TB transfer for around the same price.. And it's not from a fishy start up company I've never heard of.
Love the idea and wish your mate the best of luck, but web hosting is basically free these days.

(agreed that you can get a VPS for that price, but I'd be surprised if they offered that amount of RAM)

1GB is probably closer to the mark than 2 for that price, but still, the data and storage allowance is far more generous.

Don't bother using this hosting. I signed up yesterday and the account hasn't been activated yet. Sent 2 support tickets and haven't got any reply yet. Normally I get automatic activation or get activated really quick with other providers.
Just got a reply from them. OP messaged the mate and he activated the account. Hopefully I don't have to keep posting here if there is any support ticket issue in the future.
