  • Good work, I didn't know trade card discount applies to price beat, so you can effectively get 15% off any advertised price which only takes a few minutes to find in most cases.

    • Last time I tried to apply the trade card to price beat they didn't let me use it… One or the other they said.

      • Hmm that's what I assumed would happen if you tried to use both, maybe OP got lucky?

  • I prefer 2 stroke more grunt and lighter i have a bushranger L26 i paid around 500 for, been used solid for contracting for 2 years and no problems they have a 5 year domestic warranty made in japan.

    • We use a 4 stroke here have a Bushranger B25 paid around $400 from Acacia Mower Centre in Brisbane just use for home use but it's only been a few months since bought new. Made in Japan except for the Honda GX25 engine (i believe same motor which is on this Honda line trimmer in this thread) which is made in Thailand. It runs like a beast you have no idea how much grunt these Honda motors have got.

  • I bought the UMS425 (same engine, bent shaft) from my local Caloundra mower shop that was on special for $319 and received a $20 reel of Honda line for free http://powerequipment.honda.com.au/Latest_News/20150914/Honda’s_Cutting_Down_Prices?promopage=1

After years of buying crappy Ryobi and Bunnings own brands that would only last a year if I was lucky, this is reel (hahahaha) quality with a great 4 stroke engine, no more mixing, yeah! I know this one will last for many a good year.

  • If you had of got the Masters egift cards at 7.5% off(finished last Sunday) it would bring it down to somewhere around $415.

    • Well if the 7.5% off is finished then you won't be getting a $415 price now unless you already have the Masters egift cards from that deal.

  • I noticed yesterday costco still have rover straight shaft brush cutters for under $170 in ringwood. Hard to beat especially with their return policy.

  • +1

These got used in a commercial situation by my company for 5 years everyday clearing hundreds of acres of woody weeds. 3 years later, still going strong!

  • :-)

  • Thanks, great post. Just picked one up from Masters Bundamba Queensland at the price beat price :)
