EDIT: Now AU$26.41 delivered at Zavvi's new Australian site https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/229249

Great quality video material to display on your new Full HD TV or upscale on your UHD TV from Christmas. This is the Arrow Films release of these two films and according to dvdcompare.net it is as good as any other release of these films http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=23829&sel… http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=13677

Switch to AU$ at the top of the website then use the coupon code at checkout for 5% off to bring the price down to AU$28.02

Cheapest on ebay for a couple of weeks has been AU$33.46 before the current 4% cashback but this blows that out of the water. While I have not done an exhaustive search on the combined price of Baraka and Samsara bought individually, I am reasonably confident that this deal on the two-disc beats any deal for them. The best I could find for a combined individual price was AU$28.97 delivered (Baraka ebay and Samsara jbhifi). I also did not experiment to see if switching currencies on Zavvi yielded any better overall price but UK£ seemed more expensive than AU$

  • Does it come with a pellet of Opium by any chance good fellow?….

    • Goodness Gracious me …

  • When I first saw Baraka at the movies about twenty years ago it totally blew my mind.
One of my favourite movies of all time.

  • Samsara is really good - lots of fantastic visuals. But the chicken sequences are a bit much to stomach.

  • Wow, thanks for introducing these unbelievable titles to us. Never knew such brilliant visuals exist.

  • Both are excellent reference quality titles containing the highest video and audio quality you can reproduce on blu-ray. Considering the age of these titles they both still stand up as the best reference and demo discs available to show of your tv and audio system.

  • Samsara has some nice eye candy, but Baraka is the better film in my opinion. The snow monkey chilling out in a hot spring, and the Bali sequences are classics. I first saw Baraka in the theatre when it was released, and the bluray is better! They scanned each frame individually in high resolution, and cleaned off gunk that had been there originally since filming in the tropics. A must buy if you don't have in your collection.

  • This would be awesome if they release it in 4K.

  • I don't know why I listen to you people. I've gotten into trouble for buying blu-rays so often. This time is almost guaranteed.

    Thanks a lot :)

  • Thanks, ordered a copy. I was wondering what blu-ray discs to get for my Sony Blu-ray Player which I got from OzBargain a couple of weeks ago.
