I have ordered from the target eBay store before and there divert is very quick. Mine arrived days before it was estimated. Just thought I would let you know that it may be worth buying if they were to keep to that standard.
I've had the opposite experience, been 4 days (including boxing day) and they haven't dispatched my order.

Some colours look better on the Session, but it misses some finer details too.
I bought the Session just for the smaller form factor and price tag. Have used the Silver a lot and don't miss the screen at all.

Serious question:
For the average traveller, who's not looking to do some serious action shots (like strapping a camera to a snowboard or surfboard), why would you get this???
Why is a smartphone (or a cheap underwater camera) not good enough?
I expect most people settle down and use them for domestic purposes, such as recording time lapses of their freezers giving birth to icecubes. Though you'll need a genuine freezer lighting accessory for this.

I don't think you'll see the Sony at that price again soon, I suspect it was a mistake even though they honoured it. The AS200V competes with the GoPro hero4 Silver so $148 was damn cheap.

i bought one before Christmas for 270. i knew it would be way cheaper after boxing day, but i wanted it now ;)
as a review: i got this over other cheaper ones like the sj cam (even though it has a removable battery) because their batterys last an hour each, this thing goes two hours on its own. Id much rather not have to stop and change batteries.
The quality was impressive for me and it did well to reduce a lot of vibrations that my bike was getting.
