  • Might pick up a packet or two and try to whip up some Matcha Ice Cream…

Goes great in matcha ice cream! Go with the Everyday Matcha over the Premium Matcha for all things cooking. There are some great recipes on our site as well, including my favourite - matcha pancakes :)

  • Roughly how many teaspoons are in the 20g sachet? I'm also looking to make some matcha ice cream in my 2L ice cream maker.

    • You're looking at about 3-4 grams for a generous teaspoon, so roughly 5+ teaspoons in the 20g pack. Recommended serving size for matcha is usually 1/2 a teaspoon, but will of course depend on the recipe you are following. Hope that helps! :)

  • What's the difference between everyday matcha and premium matcha. If I want to make matcha latte, which one should I use? What about dessert like matcha cake//cookies?

    • The everyday matcha (both organic and conventional)is the best choice for matcha lattes, deserts/cookies etc. the premium matcha is best for simply whisking in hot/cold water and enjoying as a tea.

The difference comes from the leaves used to make the matcha. The premium matcha has a bit more sweetness to it, while the everyday matcha has a stronger flavour which helps it stand out amongst other ingredients.

      Hope that helps 😊

  • Bought 100g of the everyday matcha and the 4g sample of the premium matcha. Looking forward to experimenting with some recipes =)

    • Great, looking forward to seeing your matcha creations. Don't forget to tag us on Instagram at #mistamatcha
