Things to Do on New Years Eve

Hi All,

Looking for ideas for things to do on New Years eve especially in Melbourne (can comment on other cities too so that other members gets benefited out of this discussion) for family i.e. young with kids. We have been going to CBD for last few (4-5) years and want to explore if there is something else somene was tried and liked? e.g. watching fireworks from a cruise etc.
