[HELP] Sending Money to Japan from Australia Tomorrow - Western Union Is The Best Option?

Hi all, would like to know the most cost-effective way of sending money to Japan. Western Union will charge $165 for the amount of money that will be sent. What are my other options? Money has to land in Japan by tomorrow. Thanks

    Money has to be where? in someones bank acc? cash in hand in Japan?

    You can ask your bank about international transfers? or research which bank would have the least costs involved (use a friend/family who might be with another bank) bearing in mind the receipiant bank would probably have a fee. Cant think of anything else that would get funds in .

    are you sending to someone you know or a company/private individual that you havent met yet?
    if the later - i'll avoid western union.

    most ppl/companies will accept and you'll have some sort of buyers protection?

    Thanks for the inputs guys. Stuck with Western Union as the money has to be received by tomorrow. Add to that bank holidays in Japan start tomorrow as well.
