I'm still running an old Panasonic 42" Plasma as our main TV. It works perfectly but I feel it's a bit dated and a bit embarrassing, given I just bought a PS4 too - so it's possibly detracting from my gameplay experience.
I always felt that a TV was a waste of money, but I couldn't help having a look after boxing day. At Harvey Norman, theres $50 cashback when spending over $350. The HN rep offered my the TV in the title for $1350, which I thought was a pretty decent price.
I know it comes down to budget and preference, but wondering if anyone recommends this TV for the price? Or would I not be buying a future proof TV? i.e. should I be going bigger and better?

In the same situation. About to pull the trigger on the hisense k3500 65" but cant find any reviews. From what I have read the idea is to go as big as you can afford. Uhd means nothing as no (or hardly any) content is uhd anyway atm. Buy a fhd tv now for half thr price of uhd and spend the other half when oled prices drop. Feel free to correct me if im wrong
